Annual Meeting 2023
The 2023 annual meeting of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Minnesota had a special guest, National executive director of the NSCDA and Dumbarton House Museum, Carol Cadou. We gathered on May 6, 2023 at the Lafayette Club in Wayzata, thanks to Dame Barbara Burwell. Many Dames pitched in to make our event a celebratory occasion, from the engaging and animated reports to Carol’s informative presentation on women’s accomplishments in historic preservation in America. Thanks also go to our events chair Sandy Hull for making arrangements for a delicious lunch, our flagbearers Terry Anderson and Ann Cathcart, Andrea Michaelson, Associate Trustee Sulgrave Manor for displaying trunk show items from Sulgrave Manor, and Lucy Shepard for providing lovely floral arrangements.
