MNHS Gallery Talk: Art Speaks

The Minnesota Historical Society has invited us to join them for an online Gallery Talk on Thursday, March 3rd, 7-8 pm. Brian Szott, Curator of Art at the Minnesota Historical Society, and Sr. Exhibit Developer, Kate Roberts, will be leading the talk, displaying and commenting on some of the 150 works of art that are in the new exhibit, Art Speaks, which opens at the Minnesota History Center on February 26th. All of the works are part of MNHS' permanent collection and Brian and Kate will share stories about many of the pieces and the Minnesota artists who created them, and discussing what makes these pieces distinctive.

Here is a marvelous short video trailer introducing the exhibit: https://vimeo.com/667484644

Please register by Tuesday, March 1. To register, click here. If you are a member of MNHS, please register with your MNHS member ID on your membership card. If you are not an MNHS member, please use this special ID when registering: CDAS22. When you complete the registration, you will be given the web link to join the Gallery Talk on March 3rd, and will also receive an email reminder closer to the date.

This sounds like a great opportunity to spend a cold winter evening with our friends at MNHS.
