With elections looming in both the United Kingdom and the United States, 2024 promises to be an eventful year on both sides of the Atlantic. The Sulgrave Seminar in November will consider the unwritten British constitution and the American written one. How does each country’s political system shape our approach to politics? Two distinguished speakers will give a brief overview of the history of the UK and US constitutions and then engage in lively moderated discussion with each other and the audience about what the similarities and differences may mean for the forthcoming elections.
