Scott Stroh, executive director of Gunston Hall, was the guest speaker at our spring meeting. He gave a fascinating description of the mansion as well as explaining the life of George Mason and his intellectual contribution to the Declaration of Rights. He ended his talk with a brief description of Gunston Hall’s plan for the future. The meeting and dinner attracted approximately 50 dames and guest, including Past Regent Ruth Huss, and two daughters of Past Regent Ella Pillsbury Crosby. With a robust question and answer period, the evening was a great success!
