Dames gathered at the Saint Paul Library on a lovely autumn day to hear from fellow Dame and author Ames Sheldon about her most recent book, Lemons in the Garden of Love. She described how this book was actually her first book, and its journey to publication after many years. She also provided a timeline, based on her research, of legalized birth control in the United States. After her informative and interesting talk, we gathered for lunch at Herbies on the Park across the street.
