International Scholarships

Minnesota Dames have provided scholarships to international students at the University of Minnesota for more than 65 years.

The Minnesota Dames Patriotic Service Committee is unique among NSCDA state societies. It is the only one that supports a program for foreign students to promote international exchanges and person-to-person diplomacy. The International Student Scholarship Program at the University of Minnesota manages the program in partnership with the Dames. For more information click here.

The Colonial Dames' Scholarship Fund continues to help bridge the gap between students having the talent to attain a dream and the financial means to make it a reality. Our scholarship program often is the difference that allows international students to remain at the University of Minnesota and finish their advanced degrees. These students then go on – either in the U.S. or around the world – to make important contributions and spread American values and ideals they learned in Minnesota. This scholarship is legislated to be matched one-to-one by the University of Minnesota, allowing all of our contributions to go farther.
