Dames spend A Day at the Farm
On a cool. comfortable June day, about 15 dames and guests spend the day at an historic farm owned by Dame Helen Kerwin. Helen arranged for us to have numerous activities such as croquet, flower arranging, and more, and to hear from local historian and author Bud Stimmler about the history of Clear Lake Township, its rivers, bridges and ferries and the history of the farm itself over a delightful picnic lunch. For photos of the event, go to Summer 2024 A Day at the Farm — National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Minnesota (nscda-mn.org).
