We celebrated the 2017 holiday season with a trip to the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. Built as a home for Swedish Immigrants Swan and Christina Turnblad and completed in 1908, the Turnblad Mansion now houses the Wallenberg Library and Archives and provides wonderful exhibits for visitors in its historic space. Swan Turnblad owned the largest Swedish language newspaper in the United States.
